The correct arrow position on the rest is essential for consistent arrow flight, minimizing unwanted vibrations, and ultimately improving grouping.
The arrow's position relative to the riser is adjusted along two axes:
Depending on the rest’s design, the height can be adjusted in one of two ways:
The correct height is when the center of the arrow shaft aligns precisely with the center of the plunger. This ensures minimal resistance during the shot and proper interaction between the arrow and the plunger upon release.

In a properly tuned setup, with the bow undrawn and the string aligned with the stabilizer axis, the tip of the arrow should be slightly to the left of the string (for right-handed archers).

The horizontal position is adjusted using the plunger button.
Turn the plunger in small increments and check the arrow alignment visually. Precision tuning takes patience, but it’s well worth the effort.
Proper arrow positioning on the rest is the foundation for all further tuning. Even the most accurate plunger, stabilizer, or tuning setup won’t work correctly if the arrow is too high, too low, or misaligned from the start.
